SUBSTEP INFRABASS ‘BRUTBIENTAL NARKOGORIUM’
- RHYTHMBIENTAL SOUNDSCAPES, FORWARDTHINKING BASS BRUTALITY AND EXPERIMENTAL BLACKTONICS ENCHANCED BY VISIONARY CONCEPTUALISM -
The long awaited Substep Infrabass’ full length concept album entitled ‘Brutbiental Narkogorium’ can be described as a complex, obscure, intelligent yet raw creation,
where Rhythmical Dark Ambient soundscapes and Bruta l- Death Metal extremity is enwrapped into structures of modern, bass-heavy electronica.
Expect nothing but excellent, ‘organic’ and highly complex drum patterns, monstrous, downtuned bass riffs and ungodly, dark, cinematic atmospheres.
The release on a whole is strengthened by forwarthinking, futuristic religious concept where the idea of NEUROTHEOLOGY is being developed further and presented into the form of short sci-fi novel providing an an insight on the nature of human's spiritual aspirations and food for thought in regards to the possibility of meeting those aspirations in the light of extensive technological and scientific development, negating simultaneously the nature and the idea of an 'God', promting death as a peaceful regression into timelessness and disclosing religious movements and it's practcies as human made tools to provide mental pace, inculcate social virtues and combat existential fear.
Album cover art was prepared by one of the leading artists on underground metal scene – Jon Zig known for his works for extreme metal bands such as Suffocation, Abominable Putridity, Disgorge any many more. His utterly dark, modern, highly detailed work allows one to submerge into the world of ‘Brutbiental Narkogorium’ and bring to life visual stimulus which perfectly complements album’s musical and conceptual side.
An unique musical work on today’s bass/dubstep/ambient scene – modern, intelligent, dark and brilliantly executed. One not to be missed!
